Bamboo Bambu Lab H2D Vision Encoder Board
Bambu Lab Vision Encoder Board – A New Level of Precision
Use the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder to elevate your 3D printing accuracy to new heights.
This advanced calibration tool can improve motion accuracy to below 50μm, compensating for the machine's natural mechanical differences and long-term wear.
This calibration is distance-independent, ensuring consistent accuracy regardless of model size, and its effects become more pronounced in larger prints.
Combined with Bambu Studio's unique automatic hole profile compensation feature, the Vision Encoder enables injection-moulding quality assembly for parts printed with the Bambu Lab H2D.
Design, print, and install – it's that simple.

Motion accuracy below 50μm – compensating for unavoidable uncertainties.
Even the most precise 3D printers cannot avoid mechanical errors – but the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder ensures they do not compromise your print quality.
This advanced XY axis calibration solution features a 10⁴ coding marker matrix and 5μm resolution optical measurement capabilities, providing motion accuracy within 50μm – finer than a human hair.
The Vision Encoder not only compensates for inherent mechanical differences but also adapts over time, correcting issues like belt slack and mechanical wear to maintain accuracy throughout the Bambu Lab H2D journey.

The larger the print size, the more pronounced the accuracy.
Through the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder Board, <50μm motion accuracy is distance-independent, ensuring consistent precision regardless of print size.
In fact, the larger the print size, the more evident its accuracy becomes, making it an ideal choice for architectural prototypes and full-size functional parts that require strict dimensional compliance.
Unmatched precision, regardless of scale.

Achieve injection-moulding quality.
Equipped with a vision encoder board, the Bambu Lab H2D features Bambu Studio's unique automatic hole profile compensation, temperature-controlled chamber, and pre-tuned filament parameters, surpassing desktop 3D printing to deliver mechanical-grade precision and injection-moulding quality.
Say goodbye to extensive adjustments and post-processing – seamlessly fit components and simplify your workflow in unprecedented ways.
Just 5 minutes of calibration keeps accuracy for weeks.
Place, calibrate, and then go.
A quick 5-minute calibration ensures ultra-high precision printing for weeks, hassle-free.
Just a few minutes of setup can offset long-term wear – keeping prints accurate and workflows smooth. Absolutely worth it!

Tips for Use
1. The performance characteristics of the machine will inevitably change due to time factors, operational usage patterns, and environmental influences.
This progression is manifested through the following mechanisms:
• Fluctuations in environmental temperature
• Structural micro-deformations caused by operational vibrations or relocations
• Stress relaxation of the casing material
As a result, the effectiveness of calibration gradually diminishes.
The degradation rate is directly related to the severity of environmental conditions and usage intensity parameters.
For applications requiring high precision maintenance, we recommend implementing a calibration protocol every two weeks to ensure ongoing measurement accuracy.
2. The Bambu Lab Vision Encoder is only for motion accuracy calibration and must not be used as a print bed.
After calibration, please properly remove and store the vision encoder.
3. Before using the Bambu Lab Vision Encoder for calibration, please ensure the following:
• Ensure the tool head camera is functioning properly, with no HMS errors (e.g., lens dirt).
• Clear all debris from the heated bed.
• Ensure the surface of the vision encoder is clean, with all grid patterns clearly visible.
• Before calibration, ensure the heated bed is at room temperature. Avoid placing the vision encoder on the heated bed to prevent errors caused by thermal expansion.
