Bambu Lab A2L

Extra Large Build Volume

Extra large capacity to accommodate bolder creativity

330 × 320 × 325 millimetres. This is 105% larger than the 256 millimetre class size.

A complete helmet, formed in one go. A batch of 40 fidget spinner toys, completed in one go.

Projects that used to require cutting models into small pieces, or starting over due to uneven seams, can now be easily accomplished.

Modular Plugins

Blade cutting, adding a new dimension

Swap the tool head cover for a cutting module, and the A2L is no longer just a printer—it can also cut.

Stickers, leather, fabric, paper, all are no problem. Want to customise the paint job for your model plane? No problem. Want to wrap leather around the grip of your Excalibur pistol? No problem.

Designed for stability

A bed suspension as stable as CoreXY.

Adaptive Vibration Compensation

Models will get taller and heavier, and the machine's vibration patterns will change accordingly. Most printers only perform a single input shaping at startup.

The A2L employs adaptive vibration compensation—a real-time calibration matrix that considers changes in the print head position and print bed load, adjusting the resonance model layer by layer as printing progresses. Ultimately, each layer is as flawless as the first.

Granular Dampers

Software handles predictable vibrations, while hardware takes care of the rest. The A2L's gantry is equipped with two granular dampers—sealed chambers filled with tiny particles that dissipate vibrations through countless micro-collisions.

This damping technology is borrowed from aerospace and precision machinery, and is extremely rare in desktop 3D printers. The result is: even at maximum print height, the surface of the printed piece will not exhibit ripples or ghosting lines.

Automatic Material System, Easily Create Colourful Looks

Multi-colour printing is not new, but achieving thousands of prints without error is unprecedented. This is the design goal of AMS lite.

Over a million users worldwide have used it for long-duration, high colour density prints—where a single error could ruin twelve hours of work—and it still manages to change colours reliably.

Supports Second Generation AMS

19 Colour Printing Material Drying Closed Storage

Using the A2L with the second generation AMS, your materials can have a sealed, temperature-controlled 'home'—dried on demand before each print, with the print gaps kept sealed.

Need more colours? Need to use different types of materials simultaneously? AMS Lite and the second generation AMS share the same built-in buffering system, allowing you to stack and mix use:

Four spools, eight spools, sixteen spools—no matter how many spools your project requires, you can easily feed them through the same queue.

Smart Print Monitoring

Let your printing operations run automatically

Most print failures occur silently—the nozzle is still moving, but the parts stopped forming hours ago.

Sensors on the extrusion path work with the Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) extruder (as a feedback node) to transmit data to algorithms trained by Bambu.

The algorithm can detect issues such as filament entanglement, depletion, nozzle clogging, and blank printing, then pause A2L printing and guide you through the repair via Bambu Handy.

Automatic flow dynamics calibration

Repeatable clear printing details

Most printers only need to calibrate the flow once, relying on that flow for subsequent prints. The A2L recalibrates for every print.

Before each print job begins, the flow dynamics calibration function measures the actual flow of filament through the nozzle and spool under current conditions, establishing a nonlinear model of the entire extrusion path.

Factors such as nozzle wear, filament humidity, and new spools are considered before the first layer of printing. Sharp corners, clear details, consistently.

UL Clean Air Certification

Print with more peace of mind, breathe more easily

When used with official filaments, the A2L printer has passed the UL 2904 indoor air quality 3D printing certification.

Tested with the core filament series from Bambu (including Bambu PLA Basic, PLA Pure, and PETG Basic), confirming extremely low emissions, ensuring the A2L printer is safe for indoor use.

Designed for quiet operation

Print quietly, work comfortably

The A2L features active motor noise reduction, precision linear rails, and smart fan speed control technology, providing a smooth user experience. In silent mode, its operating noise is only 49 decibels, akin to being in a tranquil library.

Connectivity and Privacy

Your printer, your privacy. Easily achieve cross-device connectivity using Bambu Cloud, or switch to LAN-only mode for a secure local network experience. Take full control of your connection methods.
