Snapmaker U1 3D Printer
Using SnapSwap™, change filament in 5 seconds
Most printers rely on consumable changers to switch colours or materials, which takes longer, but the actual printing time is far less than the time spent changing consumables.
The U1 printer is equipped with four pre-installed and pre-heated print heads for their respective filaments, and its SnapSwap™ system only requires changing the print head to complete the switch, reducing the wait time from about two minutes to just five seconds.

No more colour change flushing required
Traditional automatic colour-changing printers waste perfectly good filament by 'flushing' it—continuously feeding one colour of filament into the nozzle until the residue of the old colour completely disappears.
The U1 printer is different. It only cleans a small amount of degraded consumables before starting a new print job or during flow calibration, reducing filament waste by up to 80% per print.

Robust and precise locking
The U1 uses a ball-style motion coupler to precisely lock each heated print part in place, without the need for screws, magnets, or additional motors.
Locking is quick and secure, tested for one million swaps with zero failures.

Reducing waste means significant benefits
Many 3D printers generate a lot of waste when printing multi-colour models—the wasted material is often three to four times that of the final model's material!
The U1 avoids this waste through smart tool changes, saving consumables, reducing costs, and even helping to protect the environment.

Choose your material combinations
The U1 has four independent extruders, allowing you to freely mix and match materials, giving each part its own function, or use low-adhesion combinations to make support removal a breeze.

Smooth printing starts with smart calibration
The four toolheads operate at high speed, where precision is not optional but inherent.
The U1's compensation algorithm ensures that each toolhead operates in sync, suppressing vibrations, precisely controlling extrusion, and making the print surface smooth, achieving print results that rival top single-head printers in smoothness and dimensional accuracy.

Easily manage filament
The U1 is equipped with a sophisticated automatic feeding system that can accommodate up to four spools on standby, handling all operations from filament detection to loading, allowing you to easily print vibrant works.

Easily manage your prints
Snapmaker Orca is based on the powerful engine of Orca Slicer and adds official material and machine model profiles tested by engineers.
With the Snapmaker App, you can start, monitor, and control printing anytime and anywhere, and even record time-lapse videos to replay your creative process. Easily manage printing, all at your fingertips.

Anomaly Detection and Alerts
The U1 combines a dozen sensors and precision mechanical devices that can automatically detect problems and guide you to fix them quickly, ensuring every print is successful.

Capture the exciting moments, ignore the trivial details
The built-in cavity camera is not just for time-lapse photography.
Starting with the OTA firmware update planned for December 2025, its artificial intelligence will be able to detect pasta and workspace obstacles, and issue alerts in Snapmaker Orca or the app, helping you avoid wasting time and materials.

CoreXY System, Speed 500mm/s
The U1 uses a CoreXY motion system, equipped with lightweight, sturdy carbon fibre X-axis rails, achieving speeds of up to 500 mm/s while maintaining long-term accuracy within a working area of 270 × 270 × 270 mm.
